Benefits of PPP with regards to professional practise:
- I mush myself to create work at a professional level and aim for more finished work
- It enables me to find work that interests me and reflects my practise
- I question my line work and push it further
- It influences me to experiment with different materials
- Makes me question why I draw, the purpose of my drawings and helped me better understand how to draw funny for example
Problems :
- I am open minded and can appreciate all illustration but its rare that I find work that really inspires me and reflects what I'm about
- I think maybe I do not look enough because I don't know how to find my shared interests quickly - for example I have to sift through a load on AOI before I find one
- It can make you feel disheartened about your own work

The New York Times
I'd love to think that one day I could work with the New York Times but I am not sure if I have it in me to read an article and make an image based on what I've read and have it actually fit the brief that they would want. It seems a long way away for me
