I was recommended this website by a friend that studied marketing who told me that they set up a contract with creatives to take care of their social media, website, and marketing the brand. All a starter pack of setting up a business. They are quite expensive, but I decided to email and ask for some advice on going it alone and what are the most successful methods of marketing. Pretty cheeky of me as I am not paying for this kind of guidance so I don't expect a reply, but I figured I would give it a shot!
I figured these type of people are the people I need to be talking to over any agents, as I am wanting to do this stuff myself to save money. However, I could be taking on too much going alone, and perhaps may consider paying someone to do this dirty work for me so that I can focus on just making the designs and shipping them. It will be interesting to see what they say.
As I am making the website myself, commissioned someone to re-do my logo, and I am pretty confident at managing the social media side of things, the help I need mainly is with the marketing of the brand. I want to know how you get it out there for people to see.

I am a little reluctant to meet if they wish to buy me as a contract but I will give it a go to see what they have to say in terms of whether they think the brand is a good idea, whether it will work and try get as much advice out of them as possible for free. Within my first year I don't wish to be paying out for these kind of companies for things I could be doing myself.
