STUDIO BRIEF 1 - Contacting local businesses - Psyche

I wanted to get a difference of opinion when it comes to marketers, so that I can get different bits of advice. Some from creatives themselves, some from web marketers, social media marketers, fashion marketers and kind of get a mix of all of their tips because the bottom line is they're advertising and promoting a brand in one way or another and I want to know what people are buying into.


I contacted the marketer of a successful clothing store called Psyche who also run events and have links with lots of businesses in the north east and as I am moving home to set up the business I want to build good relationships with local businesses in the area who could possibly promote me.




Their response :

This was really helpful and I am glad I have thought outside of the box in terms of contacting businesses like this because despite them not being in the creative sector, they are a succesful brand who run a business and they have their own way of dealing with things. I particularly liked what she said about time management with prioritising tasks I think this will be key for me working individually, keeping a diary and keeping track of orders, what I need to draw, promotion etc. 
Also what she said about maintaining a theme across all advertising methods is something that has been playing on my mind when representing the brand as funny and playful I need to be consistant with this not just on the site, but on social media, in my deliverance and in emails etc.
