It was great to see how a small business markets their brand as well as larger companies because this business is still successful and the founder relies on Facebook and Instagram for sales. This shows me that you can still make money without a website or shop. I liked what she said about contacting other businesses to stock your designs I think this would be a wise move for me within the first year to as she says 'get my work out there.' This is definitely something I will consider looking into. It is also refreshing to know she has the same approach to working as what I will have come July, having a room within the house as a studio space, and that this works for her. I do worry that I will fall behind not being around creative people everyday like I have for the past 3 years, but I know that my friends are only a phone call away if I need advice or an email if I would like them to look at something.
